EIS Hospitality Joins the Fight Against Heart Disease

WHEATON, ILLINOIS, September 2023 – The EIS Hospitality team participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk in Wheaton, Illinois, and in a separate event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in September 2023.
Together, the teams raised $4,281.31, which was matched by the Elkay Family Foundation for a total donation of $7,781.31.
“We chose this organization in light of the recent passing of Gary Munroe with DYA, and another teammate having a heart health scare, where we realized we wanted to get involved and raise awareness within the team and organization of overall heart health,” said Account Manager Courtney Messersmith. “Having the opportunity to gather, raise money for a cause that is close to all of us, and learn more about preventative health and warning signs of heart issues is important. We hope to encourage our organization to focus on their health in a preventative manner compared to reactive and have the knowledge and information that’s available to help each other remain healthy.”
The teams chose to participate to encourage each other to focus on health in a preventative manner and to help each other remain well. EIS proudly supports our employees’ charitable efforts and their personal paths to health.
